Working from home can be a dream come true for many. Personally I love working from home, I take my son to school come back home and have a coffee, I work until I decide I have had enough then I stop and do something else, there are days when I don't even bother to work and still I can make money. I don't have to worry about child care, if my son is ill or on school holidays I can stay home with him with no problems and no worries about losing money. I make dinner, when I feel in the mood I bake and I NEVER have to feel guilty over not spending enough time with my son.
Life wasn't always this way though. As a single mum I found working and trying to raise my son to be very hard work, I had a very good job as a payments officer for a financial advisor's company which I lost after having taken far to much time off work to deal with both my child's and my own health issues. It was hard at first, I had to move out of my flat and ended up living in the middle of no where. With no car, driving licence or any decent public transport finding work was net to impossible. By deciding to find a way to work from home I managed to completely change my life for the better, I have finally learned to drive and have bought a very pretty looking silver BMW, I am jetting off to Thailand for the second time in little over a year to visit friends and I will also be getting married for the first time. I love what I'm doing and since starting my own businesses I have never looked back.
Working from home is not for everyone. It does take discipline, the beginning especial requires a lot of time and energy. Some people lack the discipline to actually do it at all, I have spoken to many people that admit having tried but rather than putting in the time and effort find something else to do and never really get started.
Finding the right business for you
Finding the right Work from Home Business Opportunity can be hard, there many scams and scammers on the net that just want to take your money and leave you with nothing. So how do you tell the legitimate businesses from the scams? To be honest there are no easy answers here, your best bet is to research the company thoroughly of course but this can take a great deal of time and effort, though it's well worth it if you wish to avoid losing money.
The right businesses for you should really be something that interests you. Some people out there can market anything, doesn't matter what it is they could sell it. I on the other hand cant do that, I cant give you reasons to buy something that I see no use for and I can't try to sell something if I know it;s worthless. If your like me then the best thing you can possibly do is to find something that you have a passion for, one of the things I market online is healthy chocolate, what can I say it's just amazing, I LOVE chocolate, and that fact that this specific type of chocolate is actually good for my health gives me numerous reasons to use the product and that in turn helps me to get other people interested. It makes the whole process of marketing so much easier.
So...where should you start?
After spending far to much time (I actually spent months researching MLM business before every spending a penny on anything) I can say with all honest that that alone can be hard work but it paid off. I joined several company's that pay me regularly and earn a very nice income from them. During my many hours of research I also cam upon a huge amount of very valuable information and many amazing resources that I could not have got along without. The businesses I use as well as the information and resources I gathered were all eventually put into on place so that other people could find them with ease and use them also.
I am often asked why I made everything available for free when I could have easily sold the information I gathered, the answer is simple, I wanted to. Being a single mother I had very little money when I started out so most of what I found was free to use, to be perfectly honest I would feel like a fraud by trying to sell on something that I know can be gotten free just from using google search.
